Breast Uplift with Implants

Restore natural fullness and shape to the breasts with a corrective breast uplift procedure. Breasts can lose volume, sag or change shape for many reasons including weight fluctuations, pregnancy or other lifestyle influences, and a straightforward procedure conducted by an expert Plastic Surgeon can address these concerns with the addition of an implant to provide further volume to the breast tissue, with minimal scarring. 6 week recovery period.

Pre Treatment Advice

We advise our patients to follow a healthy diet and exercise regime prior to surgery to aid recovery and healing. Do not smoke for 2 weeks prior to surgery and reduce your alcohol and caffeine intake. Your practitioner will discuss any medication you are currently taking and will advise on any adjustments if necessary prior to surgery. Thoroughly wash the chest area with anti-septic the night before and day of the operation.

Before Surgery

Before the procedure, the patient is typically given anaesthesia to ensure their comfort during the surgery. This may include local anaesthesia, where only the targeted area is numbed, or general anaesthesia, where the patient is asleep during the procedure.

The night before

You may need to take time off work and make arrangements for post-operative care. It’s important to plan ahead and make necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth recovery.

On the day

You will be provided with full post-operative care instructions. You will possibly have surgical drains fitted at the time of surgery to prevent infection, which will be safely removed at a later date. You will also be provided with a surgical bra that should be worn 24/7 for 6 weeks.

Recovery time

4-6 weeks

After care

Be sure to attend all scheduled follow-up appointments with your surgeon to monitor your progress and address any concerns or questions you may have.

Post Treatment Advice

We recommend sleeping elevated for the first 2 weeks as you will be swollen and may experience some discomfort. Abstain from work and driving for 2 weeks and refrain from exercise for 6 weeks post-op. We recommend use of a Hyperbaric Chamber 3x per week for 3 weeks to aid recovery and healing.
