Joint Injections
Hyaluronic acid is a natural lubricant that the body produces as a cushion for tissues and joints, to support mobility and comfort. The injection of hyaluronic acid into targeted areas imitates this natural lubrication, enabling better and more comfortable mobility in a low friction environment. This can help with managing pain and retaining knee function, and these injections can be repeated every 6 months for continued relief if necessary.

Dr. George Tselentakis is a highly qualified and experienced consultant and surgeon practising in the south east of England, and heads up the Orthopaedic team at Galen.
His clinical practice specialises in all aspects of knee surgery, including anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, meniscal repairs, articular cartilage regeneration techniques, knee replacement, revision knee replacement and complex ligament reconstruction surgery.
