PRP Therapy

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is a fluid containing powerful growth factors that is safely and carefully sourced from the patient's own blood supply. The concentrated number of platelets in the plasma improves its ability to heal, making it an ideal treatment for regenerative purposes to help repair damaged tendons, ligaments, cartilage and joints. Using PRP in this way, by injecting it directly into the treatment area, can dramatically reduce pain and inflammation in the affected zone as well as slowing down damage to the joint or cartilage, producing longer-lasting results.
