As a Consultant Plastic Surgeon and Aesthetic Doctor with more than 20 years of experience and over 25,000 surgical and nonsurgical procedures performed. Dr. Andreas Androulakakis is an internationally recognised Plastic Surgeon, with thriving practices in London, Athens, and Italy. With an ever-evolving multi-ethnic patient portfolio of high-profile clientele, including patients that have remained since the start of his practice. She consults privately in central London and Surrey providing exceptional personalised care. Dr Catherine specializes in all aspects of skin disease including acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancers, skin rejuvenation and acne scarring management.
Additional areas of specialist clinical interest include skin surveillance strategies for sun damaged skin and the early detection of skin cancer using mole mapping which she runs from her London and Surrey practices. During her role as an NHS consultant she was clinical lead for skin cancer and chaired the regional skin cancer pathway group and continues to ensure excellence in skin cancer management.
She lectures widely internationally and is a senior advisory consultant with world leading skincare companies raising awareness of skin disease. Her honest and scientifically based opinions are regularly featured in the media.

Mr. Theodore Nanidis

Mr Nanidis works as a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at the renowned Royal Marsden Hospital in London. He graduated with distinction from University College London Medical School in 2003 and completed his higher plastic surgery training in London, with specialist fellowships at the Royal Marsden and Queen Victoria Hospitals. Theodore’s cosmetic training involved a formal fellowship in Sheffield and time spent in prestigious units in London, Sweden and Canada
Mr Nanidis specialises in all aspects of surgery of the breast and trunk and is truly fortunate to have a practice, where he can offer a mixture of cosmetic and complex reconstructive procedures for his patients. Although at first glance these two disciplines may appear unrelated, the core reconstructive principles he uses in the NHS, directly apply to cosmetic surgery. This gives him an edge and a unique understanding of the aesthetic form, tissue reshaping, healing and above all the focus on personalised and safe care.
In addition to the standard cosmetic procedures offered, areas of particular interest of his include: implant free natural breast enhancement, auto-augmentation breast lift, liposculpting and liposuction, tummy tucks, cosmetic ear surgery, eyelids and surgery of the skin. Dr. Nathan Curran is a Functional Medicine Practitioner that brings valuable insight into the application of nutritional and lifestyle strategies to Galen, bolstering our clinical offering with his training as a medical doctor combined with a human curiosity for holistic and patient-focused care
Having completed his medical training and an intercalated honours degree in Human Genetics at Stellenbosch University in South Africa, he spent a further two years gaining experience in emergency medicine and infectious diseases. Since moving to the UK in 2005, Dr. Curran has spent over a decade working alongside healthcare providers in the corporate health sector, which has afforded him a unique insight into the factors affecting the health of individuals working in this competitive and emotionally demanding environment.
It was during this time that it became clear to him that the conventional, disease-focused medical approach was ill-equipped to effectively address factors such as stress, nutritional deficiencies, sedentary lifestyles and environmental toxicity, which are becoming increasingly prominent in modern society. His progressive approach aligns more closely with Functional Medicine, stemming from a belief that everyone deserves a life full of vitality. Through his practice as a Functional Medicine Practitioner, he empowers individuals to take back control of their health and wellbeing.

Mr. George Tselentakis
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon

Mr George Tselentakis is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in Knee Surgery.
He came to the UK after qualifying in Greece and underwent basic surgical training in the London SW Thames region. After passing his FRCS in 1994 he undertook research, which was awarded with a PhD, at the Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry, with Professor J.B Richardson.
Upon completion of his research he joined the North West Rotation where he received his higher orthopaedic surgical training in Manchester. He completed his training by passing the FRCS (Tr&Orth) exam and undertaking a knee fellowship in 2001 at the Royal Bolton Hospital as well as visiting a number of nationally and internationally renowned knee centres.
As an Orthopaedic Consultant he has presented nationally and internationally and has published several papers in peer reviewed scientific journals and authored book chapters.
Mr George Tselentakis has been a Orthopaedic Consultant since 2002 and the Lead Clinician of the Orthopaedic Department at ESH from 2010-2018.
His clinical and research interests encompass all aspects of arthroscopic and open knee surgery. As a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon he has performed over 4000 knee replacements including primary and revision procedures and a similar number of ligament reconstruction procedures including simple or complex reconstructive procedures. He has also performed over 7000 cartilage procedures including meniscectomies, meniscal repairs, cartilage regeneration and other arthroscopic or open surgeries.
Mr George Tselentakis has been awarded 7 Clinical Excellence Awards for his managerial input in organising the Orthopaedic Services at East Surrey University Hospital during his tenure as a Lead Clinician and for clinical excellence as detailed succinctly below.
His clinical results as recorded in the NJR show that his failure rate in knee replacements remains consistently one of the lowest in UK for the last 12 years at 0.7%.
His infection rate as recorded and audited by the hospitals has been consistently very low; less than 0.3%.
His mortality rate in Knee replacement surgery is 0%.
Independently conducted patient surveys by NHS and private hospitals show a patient satisfaction rate in the upper quartile in all domains having scored consistently over 95%.
He is responsible for the training of medical students, junior doctors and also senior surgical trainees with an interest in knee surgery under his Knee Fellowship Program. He has a busy practice performing over 800 knee surgeries annually with a fifty-fifty split between NHS and private sector.
Finally, he is registered with the GMC and he is a member of the British Medical Association, Royal College of Surgeons, British Orthopaedic Association and British Association for Surgery of the Knee.

Dr. Zia Stratos is a U.S. trained Medical Doctor and U.K. certified Registered Associate Nutritionist and WALSH Advanced Nutrient Therapy certified practitioner. Her academic career began at Georgetown University in Washington D.C., where she majored in Psychology and went on to study Medicine. Working in US hospitals, Dr. Zia was repeatedly faced with the health consequences of a poor diet and lifestyle.
Convinced that prevention is key, she decided to complete a MSc in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition at UCL in London. Her research on Diet and Autoimmunity is now published in a well-known medical journal.
Dr. Zia Stratos is an Integrative Nutritionist, Medical Doctor, Functional Medicine Practitioner, and Intuitive Eating Counselor. She is head of our Nutrition Team at the Galen Clinic and works seamlessly with Dr Nathan Curran as a functional medicine nutritionist.
Dr. Zia believes in healing the gut using food and lifestyle first, she has many years of experience counselling individuals on how to form healthier, sustainable habits. Her approach as a functional medicine nutritionist is collaborative and integrative, looking at the whole body’s ecosystem to identify root-causes of symptoms. Beyond nutrition, she takes a mind-body approach, using mindfulness, relaxation practices, nature, and movement as medicine.
