Ganglion Removal

Ganglion cysts are harmless lumps, usually found on the hand and wrist, that are filled with synovial fluid. They will often go away on their own, but in cases where they become unsightly or painful, extraction is recommended with a simple procedure. To remove a Ganglion, your Doctor will use a needle to drain away the fluid, reducing its appearance and any discomfort along with it. Occasionally, surgical intervention may be necessary, which your practitioner will discuss with you if necessary.
