BACK TO TREATMENT LIST
Joint aspiration is a simple procedure to remove fluid in areas of the body that are experiencing swelling, reducing swelling as well as pain and discomfort. This simple procedure involves using a needle or syringe to extract the fluid from the affected area, which will allow you to move your knees more freely and will relieve the joint pain, putting you back in control of your body. The fluid that is obtained from the aspiration can sometimes be used for testing purposes to reach an accurate diagnosis.
