BACK TO TREATMENT LIST
Sometimes it is necessary to manipulate joints under anaesthesia in order to alleviate chronic pain, stiffness and immobility. This treatment approach is especially useful if you also suffer from restricted movement or have limited range of movement after surgery. During your MUA treatment, the anaesthetised joints are manually manipulated through the full range of motion to break up any scar tissue which can impede movement, increasing range of motion and reducing discomfort. MUA (manipulation under anesthesia) surgery is ideal for breaking down stubborn scar tissue, enhancing mobility, and restoring a sense of ease and grace to your movements.
