Steroid Injections
Steroid injections are a safe and effective way to targeted inflamed joins, suited to anyone who suffers from painful, inflamed joints and wishes to ease pain and discomfort to reclaim control of their body and lifestyle. During the simple procedure, the steroid is injected directly into the affected joint to provide long-lasting relief to chronic pain, as well as alleviating stiffness and increasing mobility of the joint. This procedure can be combined with hyaluronic acid injections to amplify the lubrication of the joints.

Dr. George Tselentakis is a highly qualified and experienced consultant and surgeon practising in the south east of England, and heads up the Orthopaedic team at Galen.
His clinical practice specialises in all aspects of knee surgery, including anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, meniscal repairs, articular cartilage regeneration techniques, knee replacement, revision knee replacement and complex ligament reconstruction surgery.
