Surgical Lip Lift
An upper lip lift is a surgical solution to natural lengthening and flattening of the space between the nose and the lips (the philtrum), which can result in an elongated look as we age. Our surgical lip lift addresses this concern by removing excess tissue from under the nose, shortening the philtrum and subtly raising the upper lip to a position with which appears natural, more attractive and in-keeping with the wider mouth area.

About
A surgical lip lift is a cosmetic procedure that is performed to enhance the appearance of the lips by lifting and reshaping them. It involves the removal of excess skin from the upper lip to create a more youthful and defined lip contour.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The surgeon will make carefully planned incisions along the natural crease at the base of the nose and the upper lip, known as the subnasal incision. Alternatively, an incision may be made along the vermillion border of the upper lip, called the direct lip lift technique. Lastly a corner lip lift could be considered to create a smiley appearance if required. The length and placement of the incision will be determined based on the desired outcome and the patient's anatomy.
The goal is to create a harmonious balance between the upper lip and the surrounding facial features, resulting in a natural-looking and aesthetically pleasing result.
After the excess skin has been removed, the surgeon will carefully reshape the upper lip to create a more defined and lifted appearance. This may involve repositioning and tightening of the underlying tissues, such as the muscle and connective tissue, to achieve the desired lip contour.
